1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Map Dating. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Map Dating platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Map Dating Inc. ("Map Dating," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Map Dating. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We reserve the right to request age verification at any time and may use third-party age verification services to confirm your eligibility. If we determine that you are under 18, your account will be immediately terminated and all associated data will be deleted.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid phone number and completing our one-time password (OTP) verification process. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.

Map Dating allows limited anonymous browsing of the map. However, messaging, events, and profile features require a registered account.

4. User Conduct

Map Dating is a platform built on mutual respect, consent, and discretion. By using the Service, you agree to the following:

• Consent is mandatory. All interactions on Map Dating must be consensual. Do not contact users who have blocked you, ignored your messages, or otherwise indicated they are not interested.
• Respect all users. Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, discrimination, and intimidation are strictly prohibited.
• No solicitation or commercial activity. The Service may not be used for prostitution, escort services, sex trafficking, or any form of commercial sexual solicitation. Violations will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
• No minors. Any content, behavior, or communication involving, depicting, or referencing minors in a sexual context is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement authorities.
• No impersonation. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions.
• No illegal activity. You may not use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.

5. Content & Photos

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Map Dating, including photos, profile text, and messages ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Map Dating a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload and that such content does not violate any third party's rights. The following content is strictly prohibited:

• Content depicting minors in any context
• Non-consensual intimate imagery
• Content that is illegal under applicable law
• Spam, malware, or deceptive content
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights

Map Dating reserves the right to remove any content at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violations of these Terms.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Map Dating offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features include unlimited messaging, advanced filters, profile boost capabilities, and priority visibility on the map.

Pricing. Premium subscriptions are available at the following tiers:

• Single Men: $49/month
• Couples: $39/month
• Single Women: Free

Auto-Renewal. All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the beginning of each renewal period.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds. Payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge at billing@mapdating.co. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Map Dating does not store your full payment card information on our servers.

7. Privacy & Discretion

We understand the sensitive nature of this community and are committed to your privacy. Map Dating is designed with discretion as a core principle:

• Notifications are discreet — sender names are displayed as initials only in push notifications.
• The app does not appear in your device's social sharing suggestions.
• Your phone number is never displayed to other users.

8. Location Data

Map Dating is a location-based service. To provide core functionality, we collect and use your GPS location data when you use the Service. Location data is used to:

• Display your approximate position on the map to other users
• Show you nearby users, events, and venues
• Calculate distances between users
• Enable location-based search and filtering

Your exact coordinates are never shared with other users. We display an approximate location only. You may disable location services at any time through your device settings, but this will significantly limit the functionality of the Service.

9. Messaging

Map Dating provides in-app messaging for registered users with an active subscription. Messages and conversations that have been inactive for 60 days will automatically expire and be permanently deleted. This is by design to protect your privacy.

You may not use the messaging system to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, chain messages, or bulk messages. Repeated unwanted contact after a user has indicated disinterest or blocked you constitutes harassment and will result in account suspension or termination.

10. Events & Venues

Map Dating allows users to create, host, and RSVP to community events and to discover lifestyle-friendly venues.

Host Responsibilities. If you create or host an event on Map Dating, you are solely responsible for the event's organization, safety, legality, and compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations. You are responsible for verifying that all attendees meet the minimum age requirement.

RSVP & Attendance. RSVPing to an event does not guarantee admission. Event hosts retain the right to approve or deny attendance at their sole discretion.

Liability. Map Dating is not a party to any events created through the Service and assumes no liability for any incidents, injuries, damages, or disputes arising from events or venue visits. All events and meetups are attended at your own risk.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile, photos, and messages will be permanently removed.

Map Dating reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms, reports from other users, suspected fraudulent activity, or any behavior that we determine is harmful to the community or the Service. Terminated users may not create new accounts without our express written permission.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LIFESTYLEMAP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

LIFESTYLEMAP DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ITS USERS AND MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE CONDUCT, IDENTITY, INTENTIONS, LEGITIMACY, OR VERACITY OF USERS. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS. ALWAYS EXERCISE CAUTION AND GOOD JUDGMENT WHEN COMMUNICATING WITH OR MEETING INDIVIDUALS THROUGH THE SERVICE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LIFESTYLEMAP INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO LIFESTYLEMAP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
